The black banner at the bottom now scrolls with the page, covering the button to post this message, I have to resize this field to find the post button.

It looks like your browser make a mess as I can't reproduce what you show.
I'm using FF on Win10.

Did you try refresh page with ctrl-shift-r?

I got it in Opera and Firefox, so I assumed it wasn't me. However recently Gumtree search is blank on any browser on this machine, yet ok on another machine.

Doesn't help.

Seems to be something really weird on this PC (Windows 11). All the browsers do it so it's not the browser or any extensions (I have extensions only in Opera). My other Windows 11 PCs are fine, so it's not my internet connection. I use a VPN occasionally but that's off, I wonder if that could have left something in the network stack? I've rebooted since I last used it though. Maybe virtualbox is tampering, who knows? I've asked in elevenforum.

On our side, I can confirm that in last about 10-12 days no any web site engine file was changed (last my works on them was about two weeks ago), so definitely project web site isn't broken.
Also, no any user report similar behaviour.

It's my main windows machine, it's broken. In trying to fix this problem, I deleted and recreated the network bridge and now that didn't work either. I had to manually input the IP address, it was no longer sending DHCP request to the router. It's a miracle Windows works at all, they seem to screw everything up, quite how it's managing to very slightly adjust what goes into a browser I don't know. I'll just have to live with two websites not working right. I can resize the ..... oh! I just blocked your footer with adblock and it's working now. Gumtree searches I'll just use another machine for.

My network is:
Internet router ----- Main PC using Windows network bridge across two ethernet cards ----- switch in garage with 7 PCs on it.

I've done it like this so I can monitor the total internet traffic going to/from the internet from all PCs using software on the main PC. When running the LHC project, it tends to max out my 6.5Mbit uplink so I have to be careful how much of it I do at once or it makes the tasks sit waiting and not processing.
